Experience: Recent active duty tour (within past 24 months) in support of OIF or OEF with experience in Counter IED operations.  Operations and instructor experience desired.  Minimum of a bachelors degree required.  Command and Staff college or senior NCO course (SGM Acdemy graduate).  Demonstrated leadership abilities, able to take charge of an event to ensure the mission is accomplished in the established time period.

Duties: Responsible for leading a team which provides training on the conduct of fixed site defense and check point operations as a member of the C-IED MTT; prepares input to the MTT's oral and written after action Reviews and take home packages for students; conduct research of on going and emerging trends within the current theatre of operations (OIF/OEF) and the necessary skills to codify that information into applicable lessons and techniques.  Capture and communicate current best practices to audience. Capable and willing to travel monthly for up to two weeks at a time.
